Part 2: Worker Registration & Training (click to expand)

Step 1 > Add workers

Login to the Whitehaven Coal Contractor Management System (click Register/Login Now at the top of the page)  and select Manage Employee Data. Choose Add Employee and enter your employee’s details. Select submit.

Step 2 > Choose role/s

Select process next to the worker’s name, select their role/s at Whitehaven Coal, and apply. Ensure you’ve agreed to the terms and conditions and choose a card delivery address. Select save.

You will pay for worker registration, access cards and inductions later in this process.

Step 3 > Upload supporting documents

You will now be prompted to upload documents supporting the role/s you’ve chosen for your worker, including a photo for their ID access card.

Step 4 > Book training

Next, you will need to book the training for your worker, with courses listed at the bottom of the page.

Click book and choose the inductions above, save and add to cart to proceed to checkout.

Step 5 > Pay for registration and training

Pay for registration and training via credit card. The annual subscription allows you to update the worker’s details and documents at any time. The costs below include induction bookings unless otherwise stated.

First year contractor registration: $90 + GST (including card)

Annual subscription renewal: $45 + GST annual

Replacement access ID card: $30 + GST

For each site you will be working at, there will be a once-off $25 charge per site.

Training costs (valid for three years)

+ Whitehaven Coal Generic Induction – included in registration and renewal cost

+ Whitehaven Coal Open Cut Induction – included in registration and renewal cost

+ Narrabri Underground: $25 + GST

Step 6 > Registration and training approved

Pegasus will review your worker’s registration and training request, and on approval, you’ll be emailed details about their training. Their contractor card will be sent to the site of their induction.
